Breakfest at Elmers was awsome this morning. I had been told they serve 8 kinds of granola and that was it but that was comletely false. What I sat down to was tea, juice, the very best non bleached yellow corn grits, eggs with all sort of good spices and vegies, and homemade granola. It was all super yummy and filling.
Also this morning I did a tear down of my gear. I think I got rid of about 1 pound of clothes don't need, my compass since my watch has one, and half my sleeping mat because I really don't miss the parts under my legs.
Next I headed over to the outfitters to buy more stuff that I may send home in a month. I bought a 3L Platapus water bag and hose. This allows me to set up in dry campsites. I used to only have the ability to care 2L but I usualy use 3-4L for dinner and breakfast. Now I can carry 4L(I ditched a old 1L bottle) and have to fancy hose to drink from. I also bought a super duper zip-lok that will hopefully keep my dental night gaurd from dripping all over my bag during the day.
Then back to Elmers to eat my leftover pizza, enjoy snackbreak's piano and manynames guitar.
After that I hung out and relaxed until dinner time. Dinner was awsome; a corn chowder, super yummy salad and dressing, and tasty beans and rice, cornbread muffins, topped off with key lime pie. Everything was home made, mostly organic, and tasted great. Oh, one last thing, Elmer's is a vegitarin house!
